Our History

Twin Cities Streets for People began as an online resource and blog in June, 2008. Since then, the TC Streets for People website has served as a daily news source, online community, and political mobilizer for the Livable Streets movement in our region. The website and blog has built a readership of 300 daily unique readers, with a monthly total of about 2,500 unique visitors per typical month. Beginning in the summer of 2009, TC Streets for People expanded its work program to include grassroots organizing aimed at improving citizen participation in local decision-making related to street design, walking and bicycling.
