Great Pacific Northwest Town Making Tour
Tour begins and ends in Seattle, WA
This walking, biking and transit tour will take you through some of the best models of livable towns, cities,and streets in the Pacific Northwest including University Place, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Mill Creek, Langley and Bayview in Washington, and Vancouver, Sky Train, Port Moody, Waterfront, downtown and Granville Island in British Columbia.
The tour will include a mix of planners, engineers, urban designers, city administrators, elected leaders, advocates, environmentalists and developers. You get a chance to learn from one another, in addition to your guides.
This tour is led by Dan Burden, founder of Walkable Communities and is taking place in conjunction with the Pro Walk/Pro Bike conference in Seattle on September 2-5.
