Estimating costs and benefits of bicycle facilities

The Benefit-Cost tool helps communities and individuals who are considering building new bicycle facilities by estimating costs, demand, and economic benefits (time savings, decreased health costs, a more enjoyable ride, decreased pollution)  

While any project will have specific costs related to the unique site and conditions that can only be discovered further in the design process; this tool provides an overview of costs involved in planning a new bicycle facility.
